Queer Virtue

Lenten Soup Supper & Study

Wednesdays, February 21 to March 21

How can we live our faith and be the church more effectively?

You are invited to a five week study that covers topics including: Identity, Pride, Risk, Coming Out, Scandal, and Adoption. Based on the book Queer Virtue by the Rev. Elizabeth Edman  this book is designed to help Christians think about Jesus' demand that we challenge - or 'queer' - thinking that pits us against one another. The ultimate question is: how can we live our faith and be the church more effectively?

Soup will be downstairs in Parish Hall.  Study will be in the Sanctuary. Wednesdays, February 21 - March 21.  Each participant will need their own copy of the book.

Contact PastorBeeson for more details.

Soup & socializing begins at 6:30 p.m.

Study goes from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
